The company has grown steadily over the years, and now consists of 20 fantastic employees and offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City. We pride ourselves on delivering extremely high quality tour experiences at a fair price, and we consider repeat Sunrise Tours customers our most important marketing “tool”.

Day 1: Sioux City, NE Travel across Missouri into Nebraska for an overnight stay at the upscale Delta Hotel South Sioux City Riverfront, located on the banks of the Missouri River. D

Day 2: Rapid City, SD Explore the rugged beauty of Badlands National Park before dinner at legendary Wall Drug Store. Settle in for a two-night stay in Rapid City at the popular Comfort Suites. B, D

Day 3: Rapid City, SD With a local guide get face to face with the rich heritage of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and Black Hills. Travel to Custer State Park featuring 71,000 acres of unspoiled land, pristine lakes and roaming buffalo. Off-road on a Buffalo Safari Jeep Tour into one of the largest herds of bison in North America. Lunch at historic State Game Lodge, the “1927 summer White House” where Presidents Coolidge and Eisenhower dined. B, L

Day 4: Cody, WY On our way to Cody, WY, we pass geological wonder Devil’s Tower and through breathtaking Big Horn Mountains. Tonight, relax in comfort at Cody Cowboy Village, luxury lodging with all rooms attractively appointed with western flair. This is the real thing – log cabins with open beam ceilings! Surrounded by majestic mountains, enjoy the scenery from chairs on your cabin’s porch. Enjoy dinner and toe-tapping entertainment at the acclaimed Cody Cattle Company. B, D

Day 5: Yellowstone National Park Visit Buffalo Bill Center of the West including the new Cody Firearms Museum before traveling into Yellowstone Park. Explore Norris Geyser Basin, the hottest and most variable thermal area in Yellowstone. Discover information about geothermal features at the Norris Museum and take a leisurely stroll on one of the trails. Unpack for a two-night stay in Yellowstone National Park. B, D

Day 6: Yellowstone Comes Alive! Bring your cameras and enjoy the best of Yellowstone today with a local guide. Old Faithful! Geysers! Paint Pots! In all, a day of geological wonders and plenty of wildlife. Enjoy dinner at the Old Faithful Inn this evening with time to explore afterwards. Old Faithful Inn is one of just a few remaining log hotels in the United States and is considered the largest log structure in the world. Highlights include the 65-foot ceiling in the lobby and the rhyolite fireplace. B, D

Day 7: Jackson Hole, WY Head south to Moose, Wyoming and follow your nose towards aromatic campfire smoke to savor a good old-fashioned Dornan’s Chuckwagon lunch. Unwind during a scenic float on the Snake River with the Grand Tetons as the backdrop and narration about the region’s wildlife, history and geology. Enjoy leisure time to explore Jackson Town Square, the heart of historic Jackson Hole, WY, and contemporary accommodations with classic, Old West hospitality as we overnight at the Elk Country Inn. Day 8: Grand Tetons – Salt Lake City, UT After a relaxing morning, board the coach and travel south along scenic highways into Salt Lake City. Enjoy a farewell dinner and overnight stay at the DoubleTree hotel where you are greeted with a warm cookie! B, D

Day 9: Return home Fly home from Salt Lake City. B
