The company has grown steadily over the years, and now consists of 20 fantastic employees and offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City. Day 1: Oklahoma City, OK

 

Saddle up, cowboys and cowgirls! Your adventure begins with dinner and an overnight stay in Oklahoma City, OK. D

 

Day 2: Amarillo, TX

 

Join our local expert for a guided tour of Oklahoma City including the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Bricktown. Take a VIP docent-guided tour of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, celebrating the enduring legacy of the American West. After lunch at a local favorite, continue to Amarillo, TX for a 3-night stay in the Embassy Suites Amarillo Downtown, with spacious, all-suite rooms and evening receptions. B, L

 

Day 3: Palo Duro Canyon

 

Spend the morning exploring “The Grand Canyon of Texas,” Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Take a ranger-guided driving tour to the bottom of the canyon to learn about the history of human habitation in the canyon. Visit the campus of West Texas A&M University for a curator-led guided tour of the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum. Return to Amarillo for a guided tour with our local expert, including a stop at Cadillac Ranch. Where else but in Texas will you find 10 Cadillacs buried nose down and covered in spray paint? Enjoy dinner at the Route 66 landmark legend, the Big Texan Steak Ranch. B, D

 

Day 4: Texas – The Musical!

 

Step back in time during a morning visit to the unique Jack Sisemore RV Museum featuring 25 years of vintage RV’s. Experience the history of the American Quarter Horse from colonial times to present day through interactive exhibits and live demonstrations at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and Museum. Arrive at the Palo Duro Canyon Outdoor Amphitheater for “Texas – The Musical!” Enjoy a back-stage tour and classic Chuckwagon BBQ dinner before the show starts with a rider on the rim waving the Texas Flag and ends with fireworks over the canyon B, D

 

Day 5: Tulsa, OK


After a leisurely morning at the hotel and free time to explore downtown Amarillo, continue to Tulsa, OK for dinner and overnight stay. B, D Day 6: Return home Explore the life and legacy of one of America’s greatest folksingers and most influential songwriters during a morning visit to the Woody Guthrie Center. Return home with a greater appreciation of the Lone Star State. B
