Sunrise Tours is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1993. The company has grown steadily over the years, and now consists of 20 fantastic employees and offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City. Day 1: Depart
Head east on our deluxe motor coach for this patriotic tour, honoring the past and present of those that have fought for our freedom and to keep us safe. Overnight in Charleston, WV. D
Day 2: West Virginia
Travel through the heart of Appalachian country and marvel at incredible mountain views at the New River Gorge. Stop in Hinton to learn about the history of the railroad and the vital role it played in shaping Appalachia at the Hinton Railroad Museum. Continue through the mountains to Richmond, VA for dinner and an overnight stay. B, D.
Day 3: Williamsburg
Experience 18th century life in Colonial Williamsburg, with a hands-on visit to the place and time where America began to fight for her freedom. Day 4: Norfolk
After watching sunrise over the ocean from your balcony, spend the morning at the Military Aviation Museum and enjoy the largest flying collection of World War I and World War II era military aircraft in the world. Head to the neighboring city of Norfolk and visit the Botanical Gardens for a narrated tram tour before boarding the Spirit of Norfolk for a fun and relaxing dinner cruise. B, D.
Day 5: Virginia International Tattoo

Day 6: Marine Museum
Depart Norfolk for Northern Virginia to immerse yourself in the history of two branches of our armed forces. First, visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps for a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines - past, present, and future. Under the command of the Marine Corps University, interactive exhibits surround you with the sights and sounds of Marines in action. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Arlington. B, D.
Day 7: Columbus
Travel through the heartland with a stop in Zanesville, OH and the Alan Cottrill sculpture studio. See the artwork and craftsmanship that turned this native Midwesterner into one of the finest figurative sculptors in the entire world. Continue to Columbus for a one-night stay. B, hot apps.
