The company has grown steadily over the years, and now consists of 20 fantastic employees and offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City. Day 1: Memphis Depart St. Louis for Memphis, TN and experience the authentic blues music that made the city famous while enjoying dinner on Beale Street. D

Day 2: Jackson, MS Visit two museums under one roof at the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson. These modern and interactive museums tell the story of changing times and challenging events in the deep south. Arrive in Lafayette, LA for a two-night stay at the Drury Inn. B, Hot Apps

Day 3: Cajun Country This morning in Crowley, LA our local step-on guide will take you to a working farm to learn how two crops, rice and crawfish, are farmed on the same land. After a stop at the Acadian Cultural Center, complete your Cajun experience with dinner and live music at a Lafayette landmark that showcases traditional French Cajun heritage; Prejean’s Restaurant. Day 4: Bayou Visit with costumed interpreters at Vermilionville, a heritage and folk-life museum. The Village boasts original buildings and artifacts which reflect early Acadian life. Greenwood Gator Farm will take you on a boat cruise into the Bayou cypress swamp and demonstrate the fascinating industry of Alligator Farming. Are you brave enough to hold a gator? Day 5: Cajun Cooking and French Quarter Visit the #1 attraction in New Orleans; The National World War II Museum. Visit the various galleries at your own pace and experience the popular Beyond All Boundaries 4-D movie. Get an up-close look at how Cajun cuisine is made with a demonstration class at the New Orleans School of Cooking. Take an optional walking tour through the most iconic part of New Orleans, the French Quarter. B, D

Day 6: New Orleans Experience the Old-World ambiance of New Orleans as our local step-on guide highlights the distinctive history, customs and architecture of this romantic city. Visit a local cemetery to learn of their unusual burial practice. See the elegant homes in the Garden District with their columned porches, mighty oaks and verdant gardens. Lunch is at the legendary Mulate’s, the Original Cajun Restaurant. Enjoy a magical tour at Mardi Gras World to see where the colorful floats are made. The evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. B, L

Day 7: Houmas House Plantation Travel to the spectacular Houmas House Plantation and Gardens, the crown jewel of Louisiana’s River Road. A costumed hostess will be your guide through the 16-room antebellum estate filled with period antiques and Louisiana art. Walk outside amongst the majestic ancient oak trees, lush gardens filled with vibrant flowers, fountains, ponds and sculpture as well as the charming garconniere. Enjoy Lunch at Café Burnside on the property before heading to Jackson, MS for an overnight stay. B, L
