The company has grown steadily over the years, and now consists of 20 fantastic employees and offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City. Day 1: Ft. Lauderdale Depart St. Louis for the warmth of Florida on this adventure packed tour. Fly to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. D
Day 2: Biscayne National Park & Key West Head south to the shores of Miami and Biscayne National Park, where mangroves along the coast provide a home to manatees, dolphins and sharks. Continue along Florida’s iconic highway 1 all the way to its final stop – Key West. Check in for three nights of island paradise at the Fairfield Inn Keys Collection. B, D
Day 3: Dry Tortugas National Park Board the Yankee Freedom III for a full-day trip to one of the most remote and least visited National Parks in the US, Dry Tortugas National Park. This island in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico is home to historic Fort Jefferson, a 19th century naval command center. Tour the fort with a park guide or spend the day relaxing on the island’s pristine beaches. Watch for sea turtles! Return to Key West in time for dinner and evening at your own leisure. B, L
Day 4: Key West Enjoy a full day exploring one of the premier vacation destinations in the world. Board our private guided trolley for a complete tour of the area. Immerse yourself in the vibrant island community with shops, restaurants and seascapes in every direction. B
Day 5: Everglades National Park Adventure awaits as we leave paradise and enter the unspoiled wilderness of the Everglades. Have your camera ready as our guided boat tour journeys into the mangroves. Manatees, dolphins, crocodiles and countless species of exotic birds make this a wildlife spotter’s dream. Continue to Homestead, FL for a two-night stay. B, D
Day 6: Shark Valley Journey to the northern portion of the Everglades to take a guided tour through the high grass aboard the Shark Valley Tram, narrated by a National Park ranger. Keep an eye out for the landlord of the Everglades, the American Alligator, as well as other famous residents of the park. B, D
Day 7: Fort Lauderdale Tour Ft. Lauderdale with our local guide, learning about the rich history and culture of the area. Spend the rest of the day exploring all there is to do at the famous cruise ship port. Called the “Venice of America,” take the water taxi through the city’s vast system of canals (additional cost). Enjoy a final evening of dinner and fellowship looking back on a fun and exciting trip. B, D
