The company has grown steadily over the years, and now consists of 20 fantastic employees and offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City. Day 1: Cambridge, OH A dinnertime arrival in Cambridge, OH offers a unique holiday experience as each holiday season the downtown area transforms into Dickens Victorian Village, with over 92 scenes of 180 lifelike figures representing classic scenes from the Victorian era. The “Queen” herself will host dinner this evening at Cambridge Country Club. After dinner feel the holiday spirit at the spectacular Courthouse Holiday Light Show. D

Day 2: Washington D.C. Continue to D.C. for a 3-night stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Foggy Bottom, less than a half mile from the National Mall and one of the closest hotels to the White House. Enjoy dinner at Blackfinn Ameripub DC and catch your first glimpse of the National Christmas Tree. B, D

Day 3: Washington D.C. Spend the day experiencing all that Washington, D.C. has to offer. A guided tour with our local expert gets up close to some of the city’s – and country’s – most awe-inspiring landmarks. See inside the symbol of democracy at the US Capitol and honor the fallen war heroes and political figures at the memorials on the National Mall. Go beyond many of the typical tourist attractions for visits to the National Archives, Supreme Court, Ford’s Theatre, and Library of Congress. When the sun goes down the lights come on! Enjoy the festive decorations of our nation’s capital as you dine downtown. B, D

Day 4: Happy New Year’s Eve! At the United States Botanic Gardens holiday exhibit, Season’s Greenings, see the two largest indoor decorated trees in Washington, D.C. and plant replicas of the capital’s landmark buildings. After exploring your choice of Smithsonian museums, ring in the New Year at a very special private dinner hosted by the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Navajo Chef Freddie Bitsoie creates a custom menu and presents on American Indian culture and food. This Sunrise-exclusive dinner unfolds after the museum closes to the public. And of course, no New Year’s Eve is complete without a Champagne toast! B, D

Day 5: Mt. Vernon Depart from beneath the shadow of the Washington Monument to the home of George Washington himself, Mount Vernon. The historic estate is more than a mansion, with a museum, distillery, gristmill, lush gardens, and the tombs of George and Martha Washington. From one historic estate to another, check into the most iconic hotel in Virginia, the Cavalier, for a 2-night stay. Originally opened in 1927, this Virginia Beach hotel reopened its doors to the public in 2018 after an $85 million renovation. Dinner at The Hunt Room, the hotel’s sophisticated social lounge, makes for a great introduction to the property. B, D

Day 6: Virginia Beach Tour historic Virginia Beach with our local expert to see the lighthouses of Cape Henry and the home of the Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornets at the Naval Air Station. Return to the Cavalier for a guided tour of the grounds and leisure time to experience all that the hotel has to offer. Discover the full-service spa (own expense), onsite distillery, lush gardens, and oceanfront verandas. A special dinner awaits at Rockafeller’s, the local favorite and waterside seafood eatery known for its fresh oysters. B, D

Day 7: West Virginia Pass through the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Western Virginia and the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest. Overnight in Huntington, WV. B, D
