Day 1: Fly to Paris Overnight flight to Paris, France. D, B (in flight)
Day 2: Paris, France Upon our morning arrival in Paris, enjoy a guided panoramic city tour including the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysées, Montmartre, Notre Dame Cathedral and more. Check into the centrally located Crowne Plaza Paris Republique for a three-night stay before a special welcome dinner at Chez Francoise next to the Eiffel Tower. D
Day 3: Versailles and the Seine River Visit the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the seat of the French Royal Court for 100 years until its demise in the French Revolution. Explore the famous Gardens of Versailles, the Sun King’s royal apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, where the treaty to end WWI was signed. After a free afternoon to explore, enjoy a lovely dinner cruise on the Seine River by Les Bateaux Parisiens through the heart of Paris. B, D
Day 4: The Louvre The tragic fire at Notre Dame Cathedral precludes a visit, but we continue our exploration of the “City of Light” with an inside visit to The Church of St. Eustache and/or The Church of Saint-Sulpice followed by lunch at Fontaines Saint Honore, just a few steps from the Louvre, the world’s largest art museum. Enjoy a guided tour of the Louvre, including a look at the Mona Lisa followed by a free evening to continue exploring the Louvre (open late tonight) or discover another part of Paris. Your French guide and Sunrise Tour manager are there to help you maximize your Paris experience. B, L
Day 5: Lyon, France Bid “au revoir!” to Paris at the Paris Gare de Lyon and board the famous TGV train (the “high speed line”) with a first class ticket for Lyon to board the Provence. B
