Visit five different countries on this once in a lifetime Thanksgiving cruise!

Day 1: San Diego
Fly to San Diego for a relaxing evening enjoying the hotel’s amenities and getting to know your Sunrise Tours cruise mates. D

Day 2: Embarkation
After a guided tour of San Diego including Old Town State Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy and Balboa Park, return to the Harbor for embarkation. Holland America’s MS Eurodam is a 2,100-guest vessel launched in 2008 as the first in their Signature Class. A “Cruiser’s Choice” award winner on Cruisecritic.com in 2018, Eurodam is large enough to offer included premier onboard features like Broadway style productions at Lincoln Center Stage and cooking demonstrations in America’s Test Kitchen, yet small enough that you won’t get lost. B, [all subsequent meals provided on board]

Day 3: At Sea
Explore the Eurodam and soak up some sun as we begin our southerly cruise. Visit B.B. King’s Blues Club or explore the ship’s collection of Dutch master’s artwork. If you haven’t already booked your optional shore excursions, visit the concierge to see if any pique your interest (additional expense). Perhaps a Dolphin Encounter in Puerta Vallarta, a guided tour of capital city Antigua from Puerto Quetzal, an aerial tram ride in the canopy of the rain forest in Costa Rica or a horse and carriage tour of Old Town Cartagena?

Day 4: At Sea
The dress code aboard Eurodam is resort casual and in the evening a step up to slacks and buttoned down (or collared) shirts for men and slacks and skirts or summer dresses for women. Two or three nights aboard Eurodam will be deemed “Gala Nights” where evening wear is appropriate (optional).

Day 5: Puerto Vallarta
Get a feel for Mexico’s colonial past in “PV” as you stroll the town square (Plaza de Armas) and explore this coastal resort town. (7AM-4PM)

Day 6: At Sea

Day 7: Huatulco, Mexico
Located in the state of Oaxaca, Huatulco is known for its white sand beaches and excellent bird-watching. (8AM-2PM)

Day 8: Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
Guatemala’s largest Pacific port city, Puerto Quetzal is a busy place from which you may consider booking an optional excursion. (9AM-7PM)

Day 9: Corinto, Nicaragua
Another town featuring colonial architecture and tasty local cuisine, Corinto sits on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua, which has recently been dubbed a “hot” tourist destination for Americans. (8AM-4PM)

Day 10: Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica
A small coastal town located near several of Costa Rica’s impressive National Parks, Puerto Caldera offers a great opportunity to experience the country’s slogan; “Pura Vida!” (8AM-6PM)

Day 11: At Sea

Day 12: Panama Canal (Balboa-Cristobol)
“The construction of the Panama Canal is one of those epic tales from the past, an old-school feat of engineering, ambition and courage. A cruise along it today is a journey through the centuries, from the Spanish fortifications near Limón Bay to the glittering skyline of Panama City, not to mention the canal itself…While the French builders of the Suez Canal ultimately gave up in Panama, American crews persevered and created a route allowing ships to travel across a continent.” Holland America (5AM-7PM)

Day 13: Cartagena, Colombia
See the impressive fort, Castillo San Felipe de Barajas, a UNESCO World Heritage site within the walled city of Cartagena, one of Columbia’s most vibrant cities. (12PM-6PM)

Day 14: At Sea
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Enjoy relaxing time with friends and family and a special Thanksgiving feast prepared by the Eurodam staff. A Thanksgiving you will never forget!

Day 15: At Sea
