Day 1: Flight to Bozeman, MT
Board our flight west to Bozeman, MT. Enjoy a delicious Montana dinner before unpacking for an overnight stay in Belgrade, MT. D

Day 2: Lamar Valley
In 1995, wolves were reintroduced into Yellowstone and many have made Lamar Valley their home. Travel to this “American Serengeti” and see abundant wildlife, easier to spot against the white background of snow. Especially in the winter, wolves, bighorn sheep, bison, elk and river otters frequent this area because the lower elevation affords thinner ice to break through to vegetation below. Arrive in Gardiner to enjoy dinner at a local favorite spot and overnight stay. B, D

Day 3: Yellowstone National Park
Trek to Yellowstone north entrance and board the heated snow coach for an excursion through Yellowstone Park to our hotel. The plateau is coated in white and glistens as our guide narrates a visit through the Norris Geyser Basin, among other incredible scenery. Did you spot a shaggy herd of bison? This afternoon you will have some free time to embark on an activity (fees not included and advance bookings are encouraged), explore the many photo opportunities around the hotel or cozy up in the rustic comforts of the lodge by the fire. Unpack for 2-nights at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, a snowy haven in the heart of the Park! This evening, sip a hot beverage by the crackling fireplace or step outside after dark to admire the stars in one of the best night sky viewing spots in the world. B, D

Day 4: Full-day Guided Tour of this Winter Wonderland
Gather your camera and board our exclusive heated snow coaches for a guided tour of the park with a local park expert. See the famous sights without the crowds and with more animal sightings than in summer! Who will be first to spot a Trumpeter Swan? The scenery is stunning, and the commentary will augment your winter experience as we explore the misty thermal features where steam and hot plumes of water mix with freezing temperatures, the sightings of new wildlife tracks in the snow, and the splendor of the Canyon’s Lower Falls to see the ice arch that forms from the spray! B, Boxed Lunch, D

Day 5: YNP to Bozeman
Head north on the heated snow coach across the frozen landscape past Fountain Paint Pots and more incredible scenery to North Yellowstone where there is a likely chance to see elk grazing on the grounds! Board the motorcoach for Bozeman to visit the Smithsonian Affiliate, Museum of the Rockies. Learn about Indian History and see one of the largest and most famous collections of dinosaur fossils in the world. Enjoy a farewell dinner and overnight stay near the Bozeman airport. B, D
