Day 1: Boston
Fly into Boston, MA for dinner and a 2-night stay. D

Day 2: JFK Museum
Remember John F. Kennedy while touring his Library and Museum which portrays his life, leadership and legacy. Join our local guide for a guided tour of downtown Boston’s history and culture including Paul Revere House, the Boston Commons, Harvard Square and more. B, D

Day 3: Berkshires
Cross the beautiful farmlands of Massachusetts to the Berkshires. Indulge your inner artist at the Norman Rockwell Museum as our personal guide discusses his most significant collection of drawings and paintings. Sit down for a delicious lunch at The Red Lion Inn’s main dining room themed to feel like a step back in history to the Gilded Age. Continue north into the scenic massif Adirondack Mountains to “America’s Original Vacation” spot – Lake George. Step back in time at Fort William Henry Museum where history comes alive with a military demonstration. Unpack for 3-nights at the new Courtyard by Marriott located in the core of Main Street with easy access to shops and eateries. B, L

Day 4: Lake George
It’s a camera day! Ascend 2,030-feet to the summit of Prospect Mountain for spectacular views of the Adirondacks, Vermont, New Hampshire and on a clear day, Canada. Board the Lac Du Saint Sacrament boat for a luncheon cruise featuring amazing views of stately homes and resorts dotting the shores of “The Queen of American Lakes”. There will be time to explore the shops in this delightful village before arriving at the Adirondack Balloon Festival, named one of the top 100 events in America. Behold the magical displays of color and design on the hot air balloons as they take flight. B, L

Day 5: Lake Placid
Travel past mountain vistas, lakes and wildlife to the romantic village of Lake Placid. Home to the 1932 and 1980 Olympics, our guide will share stories and commentary about why Lake Placid is still considered the site of some of the most memorable events in Olympic history while exploring the Olympic Ski Jump Complex. Learn how skiers qualify for Olympic status and explore Main Street. Return to the Balloon Festival and gaze at the spectacular flight of close to 80 hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes rising gracefully into the skies. No wonder this Festival draws pilots from around the world! B

Day 6: Niagara Falls
Trek west to Niagara Falls, NY to experience the majestic beauty of the falls. Did you know 3,160 tons of water flow over the falls every second? Board the world-famous Maid of the Mist for a thrilling boat ride under the falls. Ponchos provided! Overnight in the Niagara Falls area. B, D

Day 7: Ohio
In Buffalo, experience one of the most improbable moments in American history at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site. During a guided tour of the house where Roosevelt was sworn into office see and hear the challenges he faced and learn what it was like to lead our nation during a tragic and pivotal time in its history. Continue to central Ohio for an overnight stay. B, D

Day 8: Return home
Travel home arriving early evening. B
