DAY 1: WELCOME TO SALT LAKE CITY!

Fly to Salt Lake City and get to know your Tour Director and fellow travelers at a welcome dinner. D

DAY 2: SALT LAKE CITY/OLYMPIC PARK

Today will begin with a guided tour of Salt Lake City. Highlights will include Capitol Hill and Temple Square, home to the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle with one of the largest pipe organs in the world. Next, travel to Park City for a gold medal experience at Utah Olympic Park, one of the sites of the 2002 Winter Olympics and confirmed host of the 2034 Winter Olympics. Enjoy some free time in downtown Park City with lunch on your own before progressing to Green River, Wyoming for a night spent at our hotel nestled within the red rocks. B, D

DAY 3: FLAMING GORGE SCENIC DRIVE/UINTAH HERITAGE MUSEUM/DARK SKYSTARGAZING

More breathtaking views of Red Rock country will mark the start of this day. We will drive the iconic Flaming Gorge Scenic Byway with stops along the way at various viewpoints. You will have a chance to marvel at views of the high desert plains, lush forests, and canyons beautifully carved by the Green River. Have lunch together at a local eatery in Vernal before a visit to the Uintah Heritage Museum to learn about the local history. End the night amongst countless stars with a Dark Sky Stargazing experience that will be out of this world. B, L

DAY 4: DINOSAUR NATIONAL MONUMENT/WYMAN LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM

Today, view the geological wonders, agricultural traditions, and authentic stories of the American West. Start with a visit to Dinosaur National Monument (rumored to be the next National Park) and witness fossils embedded in rock layers documenting prehistoric times. Continue to Meeker, Colorado — a city known as the home of the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship — for lunch and a chance to learn about the agricultural influence on the community. The last stop of the day will be at Wyman Living History Museum to view a personal collection that Lou Wyman began building back in 1949. B, L, D

DAY 5: STEAMBOAT SPRINGS/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Start this day with a historic walking tour of downtown Steamboat Springs, a charming town situated in the heart of the mountains. After, we will venture to Grand Lake to see the largest natural lake in Colorado before heading through the gateway of Rocky Mountain National Park for a guided tour. We will be joined by Dave Lively, a local historian who has lived in Grand Lake for the last 25 years and works closely with Rocky Mountaineer Park Rangers for volunteer and training programs. Dave will guide us along the national designated All American Trail Ridge Road. This is an astounding scenic highway that winds through the park while reaching elevations over 12,000 feet that offer sweeping views of alpine landscape and a plethora of wildlife. At the conclusion of the tour, we will head to Boulder to settle in for a two-night stay. B

DAY 6: BUFFALO BILL GRAVE/HIDEE GOLD MINE TOUR/COLORADO RAILROAD MUSEUM

Begin at the Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum, where the legendary Wild West showman’s final resting place overlooks the grand plains of Golden, CO. Explore artifacts and exhibits that chronicle Buffalo Bill Cody’s life and legacy. Next, delve into the state’s mining heritage with a Hidee Gold Mine tour and panning experience. Descend into the depths of a historic gold mine and experience the thrill of prospecting firsthand. Finally, travel back in time to the Colorado Railroad Museum, where vintage locomotives and restored railcars showcase the significance of rail transportation in the West before returning to Boulder. DAY 7: FAREWELL BRUNCH/DEPARTURE

On the final morning, gather for a farewell brunch at a spot nestled at the foot of the famous Flatirons rock formations one last group activity. This will mark the conclusion of the tour as we head to Denver for departure, taking with you extraordinary experiences from the West. B

We will send 3 key communications for your tour; “Get Ready” is your email confirmation and initial tour information sent upon registration, “Get Set” email will be sent about two months before departure, “Go” trip documentation mailing is sent via USPS 3-4 weeks before departure and will include your daily itinerary, luggage tags and final departure information.

Travel Protection is optional and highly recommended and can be purchased until the day before departure. We offer Travel Guard from AIG, which costs 8.5% of your tour, information about which will be sent with your Get Ready email.

Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes: Professional Sunrise Tour Director, meals as indicated, local step on guides including gratuity (international tour guide gratuity inclusion vary by tour), deluxe motorcoach transportation w/rest room, admission to activities and events as indicated, airfare from designated airports, transportation to/from designated airports from our convenient local pickup points*, luggage handling at hotels when available

We believe tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction between our guests and our staff. A typical gratuity for your Sunrise Tour Director and motorcoach driver may be $5-$7per person, per day on tour. Sunrise Shuttle drivers appreciate gratuities (suggest $5 per person) for excellent service as well. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or pass out envelopes.

We are happy to offer refreshments on most motorcoach travel days on tour. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle to maintain healthy hydration.

If less than 4 people request a pickup point, we may ask that you choose another pickup point from which to join your Sunrise Tour.

If you would like to join a tour from a city not listed as a departure point, we would love to have you along! Please discuss arrangements with our friendly reservation team. From a departure city not listed, typical airfare will be +$100 higher than our published fare for domestic tours, and +$200 for international tours.

If you have a TSA precheck or Airline Rewards numbers, you MUST give those numbers to our reservations team at least 60 days before departure, otherwise they may not be applied.

Preferred seating may not be available on group air. In some cases, seats are not assigned until the airport. Your tour fare includes an economy seat on the flight; it does not include seat selection. Seat upgrades may be available at an additional cost.

To help make our tours the most comfortable in the business, we limit Sunrise Tours motorcoaches to 80% capacity, or 44 passengers on a coach built for 55. We reserve the right to amend this practice.

Your Tour Director will rotate seats on the motorcoach each day of your tour. A single fare does not guarantee two seats on the coach; you may be seated next to another friendly Sunrise Tours guest.
