DAY 1: WELCOME TO SPOKANE!

Arrive to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Spokane, WA. D

DAY 2: COEUR D'ALENE

Enjoy a morning exploring the area with a local guide before a scenic cruise of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Continue north and cross into Canada for dinner and an overnight stay at Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort. B, D

DAY 3: GLACIER-WATERTON INTERNATIONAL PEACE PARK

The full splendor of the Canadian Rockies awaits as you enter Waterton Lakes National Park. Along with Glacier, Waterton Lakes forms the International Peace Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site shared by the United States and Canada to commemorate the continued peace and goodwill between the two nations. Check-in for two-night stay at Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort, a short walk from water’s edge and gorgeous mountain views! B, L

DAY 4: WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK

Step on a morning cruise of Upper Waterton Lake that continues past the international border and into Glacier National Park. Return to Waterton for a day to enjoy this beautiful area, including visits to scenic waterfalls and alpine lakes, plus dinner at the historic Prince of Wales Hotel. B, D

DAY 5: RED BUS TOUR

Say goodbye to the Canadian Rockies and hello to Glacier National Park. After crossing into the U.S., visit St. Mary Village before beginning the famous Red Bus Jammer tour along Going-to-the-Sun Road. Nicknamed the “Rubies of the Rockies,” these historic vehicles have been providing scenic and educational tours of Glacier for generations. B, L

DAY 6: GLACIER FLOAT

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature with a guided scenic float along the Flathead River in Glacier National Park. Watch for eagles, osprey, moose, and other wildlife as you learn about the area from your expert guide. Enjoy time in the classic western downtown area of Whitefish, MT. B, L

DAY 7: SILVER VALLEY

Travel west into Idaho and tour its historic Silver Valley. Visit the classic mining town of Wallace, the filming location of the 1997 movie Dante’s Peak. Tour a working silver mine and learn about the methods of hard-rock mining. Continue to Spokane. B, D

This tour will visit locations that exceed 7,000 feet in elevation.

Weather
Temperatures will vary throughout the tour, including the likelihood of very warm summer days and very cool stretches while in the mountains.

Accommodations
Please note that Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort does not have elevators to access the second floor. First floor rooms are available upon request.

Walking Distance
Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. Some walking will also be on uneven paths. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs. While this tour does not feature a greater amount of walking than the average tour, there will be opportunities for passengers to further explore areas on foot if they choose.

Luggage
Sunrise Tours luggage straps (that go around the entire exterior of your piece of luggage) are available in our office that can assist with ensuring your luggage stays securely closed throughout the air transport process. If you would like a complimentary luggage strap, please stop by our office during regular office hours.

US National Parks Note
All National Park visits will include an opportunity to stamp your NPS Passport.

Valid passport required to travel.

Canadian Trip Information
The currency is the Canadian Dollar. Although credit cards are recommended for ease in monetary transactions, there will be places where you may convert your US currency to Canadian Dollars. The current exchange rate is $0.80 USD = $1 CAD. Gratuities should be paid in the local currency whenever possible. Like the USA, Canada uses 110 volts, 60 Hz. It is not necessary to use an adaptor or converter with appliances and devices that you use in the US. Please check with your carrier regarding cell phone service and fees.

Please note that Canada views any type of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) conviction as a serious offense. A past conviction of DUI will likely not allow one to travel into Canada. Should this be a concern, we suggest visiting the following website for information: http://www.cic.gc.ca.

Reservations will require $250 per person deposit for this tour. Some or all of your deposit may be non-refundable per our cancellation schedule noted in these Terms & Conditions below. We are happy to accept cash, check (preferred) or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) for your deposit.
