Joe is a native Kansan with a background in the history and museum fields. He has been a museum director for nearly twenty years Including, Grinter Place State Historic Site in Kansas City, the State Capitol in Topeka and at the new Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum in Atchison. He made a career move in 2024 and completed training at the International Guide Academy and earned his certification as a Certified International Tour Manager. Joe loves to travel. This career pivot allows him to bring his museum and history experience to group travelers who also share a passion for travel. Joe also works as a Travel Planner with Sunrise Tours in the Kansas City Office. When not out on the road he enjoys cooking, cycling, live music, particularly jazz, and collecting music on vintage vinyl.
