Day 1: Oklahoma
Travel to Muskogee, OK for dinner and a festive drive through the town’s Garden of Lights annual display with a local enthusiast sharing historical stories. D

Day 2: Hill Country
Head south through the Hill Country of Texas to enjoy the display at Pedernales Electric Coops Headquarter’s “Lighted Forest” of over 1 million lights. Continue traveling the Hill Country Trail to Blanco, TX a charming town settled in 1853 by former TX rangers and pioneer stockmen for an overnight stay. B, D

Day 3: Gruene, TX
Visit the grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse where the annual Christmas Market is open for shoppers of all ages looking for a unique gift! Travel to the well preserved hill country town of Gruene, TX to visit the oldest dance hall in Texas and enjoy lunch at the local Gristmill Restaurant. Check into San Antonio’s Drury Plaza Hotel, located directly on the famed River Walk and our home for the next three nights! Formerly the Alamo Bank, the property was renovated to maintain its historical character

Day 4: San Antonio
Acquaint yourself with the River Walk aboard our private award-winning Boat Tour cruising the San Antonio River. For over 300 years, The Alamo shrine is a site full of rich history and heritage to inspire all as revealed when we explore the historic site where the fateful 13-day battle took place in 1836. Visit the 750-foot tall Tower of the Americas which provides a panaromic eagle eye view of San Antonio and includes a thrilling 4D theater ride; “Skies over Texas”! B, D

Day 5: San Antonio
Our local expert boards the coach for a city tour with stops at The Mission San Jose and the San Fernando Cathedral. Savor a wonderful lunch at the renowned Guenther House, located in the 1860 home of the Pioneer Flour Mills’ founding family, and a huge hit with past tour goers. The afternoon and evening are free to stroll the River Walk, relax by the pool or do a bit of last minute Christmas shopping in La Villita Historic Arts Village. B, L, hot apps

Day 6: Victorian Christmas
Travel to Tyler, TX and take a nostalgic trip back to Christmases of long ago with a tour of the 157 year old Goodman-LeGrand home, all decked in fine Victorian splendor representative of its era. Savor cookies, wassail and caroling from area musicians! Overnight in northeast Texas. B, D

Day 7: Return home
Travel home reflecting on a collection of sweet memories and a festive spirit to carry on through the holidays! B
