Day 1: Ogunquit, ME
Fly into Boston and board our deluxe motor coach. See our first views of gorgeous fall colors during our trip north to Ogunquit, Maine. Arrive for a 3-night stay in the Anchorage by the Sea Towers, with private balconies and easy access to Maine’s picturesque coast. D

Day 2: Kennebunkport, ME
After a delicious breakfast at a Sunrise favorite, Wild Blueberry Café, head to Kennebunkport. Board our private trolley for a narrated sighting tour of the town’s 300 years of history from early settlements to President Bush’s summer home. Continue to Cape Elizabeth for a visit to the historic Portland Head Light, Maine’s oldest lighthouse situated at the entrance to the primary shipping channel into Portland Harbor. B, D

Day 3: Portland, ME
Travel to Portland for a leisurely train ride aboard a historic two-foot gauge railcar along the eastern coast of Casco Bay and a tour of the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum. After free time to explore Portland’s Old Port, enjoy a delicious lunch while floating on the bay at DiMillos on the Water. Return to Anchorage by the Sea Towers for an evening of leisure in downtown Ogunquit. Take a sunset stroll along the Marginal Way, visit a variety of quaint shops or relax at the hotel. B, L

Day 4: Plymouth, NH
All board the Conway Scenic Railroad Notch Train for a ride along Maine Central Railroad’s famed Mountain Division line. Enjoy dramatic natural scenery as you travel through Crawford Notch, past sheer bluffs, steep ravines, cascading brooks, and panoramic mountain vistas filled with fall colors enroute to Crawford Station. Head to Lincoln, NH for a private winery tour and tasting at Seven Birches Winery. Sample red wine aging in one of their oak barrels, chat with the winemaker and taste some delicious New Hampshire wines. Unpack for a 2-night stay at the brand-new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Plymouth, NH. B, D

Day 5: Lincoln, NE
Spend the morning exploring Franconia Notch State Park. This stunning natural wonder will leave you spellbound as you stroll the Flume Gorge boardwalk passing cascading waterfalls, glacial pools and more. Experience the world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway for a trip to the top of Mount Washington – the highest peak in New England for gorgeous views of New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. Return to Plymouth for an evening of leisure. B, L

Day 6: Boston, MA
Board the M/S Mount Washington for a scenic cruise of crystal clear Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in New Hampshire located in the foothills of the White Mountains. Stop at Castle in the Clouds, the 5,500-acre mountain estate overlooking the Ossippee Mountains. Explore the 16-room mansion built by millionaire shoe manufacturer Thomas Gustave Plant in 1913. Continue to Boston for dinner and an overnight stay. B, D

Day 7: Return home
